Jay Kellebrew

This Saturday we welcome Jay Kellebrew to the taproom! Coming from Parachute, CO a small town on the western slope. Jay has always had a major appreciation for any and all music. It all began at the age of 4 singing along with mom and dad in the car to George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Clay Walker, Tracy Byrd, Diamond Rio and even The Eagles.

His love for music stems form his dad who also grew up playing in his own classic rock band called Amberwine. With even getting to open up for Rod Stuart as a solo act. Then life hit and had to give up on the dream of being a Rockstar to then provide for his family. His dad has always played and sang over the years which is what sparked the love for music in Jay.

Jay then learned to play the guitar at the age of 12 and then after 4 years stepped away only playing music when he had time. Country music was always his favorite ever since he was kid listening to the greats. When he was about 16 he saw the genre take a downturn and head down a road that he didn't enjoy anymore. He thought real Country was dead until his brother moved to Oklahoma and discovered Texas and Red Dirt Country. This sparked the love he had for country as a kid and brought him back to the genre.
